The Process

Fill Out

Pick a card and write your letter using the prompt inside. Include the recipient’s name, mailing address, and the date you’d like the letter delivered.

Drop Off Box

Seal your envelope and place 

it in the Letter to Future You 

drop box. We collect 

letters regularly from 

each location.

We take care of the rest

We store, track, and mail your letter on the scheduled date. If you register your card, you’ll get a confirmation email once 

it’s on its way.

If you have a wedding, company offsite, retreat, birthday, or any one off event worth remembering. This is the option for you.

  • A curated set of prompt cards or custom art (Option to customize with your logo, or event name)
  • Envelopes
  • Pens
  • Custom event signage, drop box/stand, and setup instructions
  • A return packaging to mail everything back to us

How It Works

  1. Guests write a letter during your event
  2. Guest put them in the drop box and then you mail the batch back to us
  3. We store and deliver each letter on the future date chosen by the writer

01.   Can I get an alert when my card is on the way?

Yes! If you register your card, you’ll get an email alert before it sends.

02.   Can I update the delivery address or date?

Yes! If you register your card, you can update the delivery address or delivery date before it ships. There’s a small $3 fee to cover the admin work of making the change. For issues you may experience during the process, click the button below to submit an issue request:

03.   How do you guarantee that I’ll receive it?

We send all letters through USPS. If you register your card  you'll also get an email reminder before your letter ships, giving you a chance to update your address or the date if needed. While there are no guarantees in life, we do everything we can to make sure the future gets the message.
 

04.   Is it private and secure?

Yes! it’s private and secure. For one-time event kits, we work closely with your host to make sure the dropbox stays sealed and protected. Long-term dropboxes are locked, and your personal information isn’t visible. Hosts are also instructed to limit access to top-level staff only.

05.   How far in the future can I send a card?

You can send a card up to 2 years into the future. We may extend this in the future as our system evolves.
